The Family Business Resource

Established in 1989 and in association with the University Business Center at Craig School of Business, California State University, Fresno, the Institute for Family Business serves as "the family business resource center for Central California."

Our current membership represents over $250 million in revenue from Valley businesses and over 5,000 jobs. The Institute for Family Business benefits family businesses in the Central Valley by:

  • Focusing on the unique opportunities and challenges facing family businesses and closely-held partnerships.
  • Providing the education, resources, and community network family businesses need to succeed and grow.
  • Recognizing the importance of family-owned business and family-business service providers.
